Dr. Khaled Serry Seyam has 32 years of academic and practical experience in the legal and financial fields, including commercial law. He currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Institute of the Judicial and legal studies in Bahrain and is a board member of several financial institutions including Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), National Bank of Kuwait (NBK Egypt), National Post Authority (NPO), Egyptian Banking institute (EBI) and the Financial Service Institute (FSI).

As an Ex-Chairman of EGX, Ex-Deputy Chairman of FRA, and legal advisor to the Ministers of Foreign Trade and Finance, he was involved in drafting various Egyptian laws and regulations, such as the Tax Law, PPP Law and Regulation, Securitization Law, Economic Court Law, Non-Banking Financial Markets Law, Suku regulations, Procedures Law, Consumer Law, and Rules for listed companies on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, in addition to advising governments and international institutions on legal reforms, including Jordan, Bahrain, Kenya, Libya, Saint Lucia, the World Bank (WB), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations for drugs and crime (UNODC), and UN Women.

Eng. Ghada has been the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Institutional Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology since December 2019. She has over 20 years of leadership expertise in Customer Management and Business Development in both the private and public sectors, as well as owning an outstanding Project Management experience.

Prior to joining the Ministry of Communications, Labib held several leadership positions, including Deputy Minister of Planning for Administrative Reform, Prime Minister’s Advisor for Follow-up and Information Systems Director. She also served as Assistant Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Institutional Development, Assistant Minister of Administrative Development and Responsible for the Development of the State Administrative Service at the State Ministry for Administrative development, and Director of the Technical Office of The Minister of State for Administrative development.

In fact, she was chosen as one of the 50 most inspiring and influential women in Egypt in 2020, as well as enlisted in the Amujae list, which contains 15 of the most inspirational African women leaders in the fields of management and public leadership.

Mr. Ahmed is an experienced Investment Banker with a cumulative 28 years of experience in Egypt / GCC capital markets and financial services spaces.

Prior to joining PFI, Mr. Ahmed held the position of Group Deputy CEO & CIO at Beltone Financial Holding, one of Egypt’s largest asset managers and investment banking firms, since 2018. Besides his role in assisting the group CEO in managing the strategic as well as operational directions of the firm, he led the setup and inauguration of Beltone into Non-Banking lending paltform by introducing 3 new LOBs in leasing, consumer and SME finance with an aggregate portfolio close to EGP1+ Bn in 2 years. He also led the digital transformation initiative to transform Beltone into a NEO bank.

He is a business acumen with in-depth understanding of different business & operating models, international best practices, regulations and governance & risk management. Over the tenure of his career, he has developed a robust relationship across a large spectrum of constituents (Institutional Investors, family offices, HNIs, DFI’s, corporates, regulators, government officials and policy makers). Ahmed holds a degree in accounting from Cairo University and Credit & Investment certified by Chase & Citigroup in Egypt & Turkey. He’s also a certified CEO by CMA in Saudi and FRA in Egypt.

Dr. Mohamed Tarek Youssef

Dr. Tarek is a chartered accountant and fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and auditors with more than 44 years of experience in Auditing and Accounting, and over 22 years in Corporate Governance and other advisory services from mergers & corporate values.

Throughout his career path he has held numerous, prestigious positions such as; Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Tax Society and the Arab Tax Society.

He was also Member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors (ESAA), and Head of Continuing Education Committee & Head of Audit Committee.

Additionally, Dr. Tarek was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society for Corporate Governance, and of The El ARABI Group of Companies – SAE and Head of the Audit Committee. He was previously Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Commercial International Insurance Brokerage Company – S.A.E, and Member of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority and Head of the Audit Committee.

He has received several certificates of appreciation from Lebanon, the Ministry of Investment in Egypt and the Egyptian Institute of Directors, Transparency Center, the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, Abu Dhabi Governance Centre, United Nations Development Organization, Saudi Arabia, and Oman Centre for Governance and Sustainability.

Ms. Sally Refaat was promoted to the position of Sub-Governor for the Markets Sector at the Central Bank of Egypt in November 2020. In her capacity as the Sector Head, she oversees Treasury, Reserves Management, Monetary policy implementation, Money and Capital Markets, Quant Modeling, and Risk analytics.

Ms. Refaat first joined the CBE in 2005 as part of a team that was formed to implement the mandate of a newly formed department entrusted with the management of Egypt’s foreign reserves.

Ms. Refaat is a former Board Member of the National Investment Bank and a former member of the Investment Committee of the National Organization for Social Insurance Pension Funds. Additionally, she has taught courses at the Egyptian Banking Institute in cooperation with COMESA.

Ms. Nevine Sabbour is a seasoned banker with extensive experience in M&A, business strategy, banking transformation, financial planning and management information system.

Ms. Nevine currently serves on the boards of several financial and industrial institutions, including Meris (Moody’s Egypt) and the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries. Ms. Nevine is a member of the board of directors of CIB, as well as a member of the board of trustees of the “We Owe It to Egypt” foundation and “Banking for Women in Egypt,” an institution aimed at women’s empowerment and financial inclusion.

Ms. Nevine holds the position of (Director-New projects and investments appraisal) in INI Investments Company. In addition, she previously held the position of Managing Partner in Panther Associates which is a boutique investment house, institutional advisory and a leading asset management institution. Ms. Nevine chaired the AAIB Holding Company, also she was a Board Member at Arab African Investment Management Company, and represented AAIB at International Capital Markets Association.

Ms. Sabbour holds a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo.

Mr. Khaled Emam has been in the investment field since 1992, and he is experienced in Audit, Control, and Finance with a track record of leading the preparation and analysis of financial reports to summarise and forecast financial position.

He is currently a Board Member at Tamweely Microfinance and Manager of Investment and Finance at Egypt Post. Prior to that, Mr. Emam was the Audit Co-manager at Hazem Hassan, Financial Controller at ASEC cement, and a Financial Controller at Palm Hills.

Mr. Emam is a board member at Egypt Post, a member of the Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors, and a Member of the American Accounting Association.

Mohamed Shamroukh was appointed as Executive President and CEO of the Egyptian National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in April 2024.

Shamroukh was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Telecom Egypt. He was appointed member of Telecom Egypt’s board of directors in March 2016, representing the government.

Having a well-rounded experience in Telecom Egypt spanning over 20 years in technical, operational, strategic, and financial affairs. As a board member, Shamroukh played an indispensable role in developing and strengthening Telecom Egypt’s financial strategy to adapt to its complete transformation. He also contributed significantly to Telecom Egypt’s ascent as a leading company known for high value, quality, and ongoing expansion across all levels.

Shamroukh played a key role in maximizing the company’s investment assets, ensuring anticipated future returns, restructuring and enhancing financial operations for greater adaptability to evolving trends, and optimizing its capital structure for financial resilience and overcoming obstacles. He spearheaded the development of operational processes aimed at supporting cost reduction initiatives, thereby streamlining expenses.

Shamroukh holds an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from IESE Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in telecommunications from Cairo University.

Sherine Ahmed Awad El-Guindy is the Assistant Minister for Strategy and Implementation and the Advisor to the Minister for Technology Parks, at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

El-Guindy was the Business Development Director at EMC Energy, since 2015. She also served as the Head of Business Development at Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services from 2008 to 2014. El-Guindy was the Sales and System Integration Director at Raya from 2005 to 2007, the General Manager of Raya Regional Services from 2004 to 2005, and the General Manager of Oratech, a subsidiary of Raya Holding, from 2000 to 2002.

El-Guindy holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, from the American University in Cairo (AUC), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Maastricht School of Management. She also completed the Senior Executive Program at Harvard Business School (HBS).

He is also an experienced Senior Director with a demonstrated history of working in the PE space, with a strong track record in turnaround, restructuring, and investment recovery projects. He is highly skilled in Business Planning, Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, and Equities.

During his career, he served on the boards of directors of many companies in different sectors, such as healthcare, real estate, education, and logistics. He also acquired a Master’s degree in banking sciences from The Arab Academy for Management, Banking & Financial Services (AAMBFS).

Mr. Ashraf is a seasoned and a versatile banker with more than 35 years of experience in banking and international organizations, working in financial management.

Ashraf joined Post for Investment as Chief Financial Officer & Head of Administration in Feb. 2023. Coming from Arab Banking Corporate (ABC), with more than 17 years of experience in Financial Planning and Management. His last post was First Vice President / Chief Financial Officer since 2010; he was assigned to assist in formulating the bank’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.

Mr. Ashraf completed a number of high-profile training programs in Egypt, USA, UAE, and Bahrain, offered by global institutions, such as ABB Process Automation, and the Institute of International Research.

Mr. Gamal Guemeih joined PFI as Chief Investment Officer in 2022, where he brought with him over 17 years of investment and private equity experience in Egypt and the MENA region. Before joining PFI, Mr. Gamal was the Investment Manager of Ergo Media Ventures; a dynamic investment firm committed to transforming the media landscape in Egypt and beyond.

Mr. Gamal also founded Springboard Investment Management Ltd.; a young investment company that serves as a regional launch pad for small and medium-scale businesses in a variety of industries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Prior to Springboard, Mr. Guemeih was an Associate Vice President in Private Equity at EFG Hermes, where he analyzed investment opportunities, led transaction executions, and managed portfolio companies in the Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, and Infrastructure sectors.

Mr. Gamal is an Eisenhower Fellow and a T20 Founding Member. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo.

Tamer has over 27 years of Middle East experience providing insightful financial and accounting advice to a wide range of large public, private corporations and government agencies and departments, in respect of financial reporting, auditing, internal control policies and procedures, corporate governance practices, and strategic planning. Highly skilled in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) based on COSO Framework, and managerial practices and procedures.

Tamer joined PFI in March 2022 as Chief Audit Officer, to lead the internal audit and governance functions in the Group. Prior to joining PFI, Tamer gained his experience at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, PwC and EY.

Tamer is US Licensed Certified Public Accountant “CPA”, Fellow of the Egyptian Society for Accountants and Auditors “ESAA”, with Master of Business Administration “MBA” from Manchester Business School.

Mr. Aboubakr is currently Chief Investment Officer at PFI. He has more than 14 years of experience in the capital market, varying among Sell Side and Buy Side Research, Portfolio Management, and Private Equity.

Prior to joining PFI, he worked as Head of Equity – Executive Director, at Sigma Capital. Also, Aboubakr worked as Head of Sell Side Research at Prime Holding. Earlier, he made it up the career ladder to the position of Deputy Research Director and Investment Committee member at Cairo Financial Holding, with Assets under Management amounted to EGP 4.0bn, where the capital owners were governmental institutions and banks.

Additionally, Aboubakr has built up a work experience of around 2 years in the banking sector.

He is a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst certificate from CFA Institute. He is also Authorized Financial Analyst by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) in Egypt.

Mr. Mazen El Kerdany is the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at PFI, bringing with him a substantial 17-year record of investment expertise in Egypt and the broader MENA region. Prior to his involvement with PFI, he held the position of Corporate Strategy Director at Beltone Financial Holding. There, he was instrumental in the company’s evolution from a conventional investment bank to a full-fledged financial services provider and was a driving force behind the establishment of Beltone’s consumer finance franchise.
With a solid background in portfolio management, Mr. El Kerdany has a distinguished history of managing funds for both institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals. His experience includes being part of the EFG-Hermes Asset Management founding team in Dubai, overseeing USD 2 billion of the USD 3.5 billion in assets under management.
Holding an MBA from Sorbonne Business School, Mr. El Kerdany is also a beneficiary of the esteemed Eiffel Scholarship. Furthermore, Mr. El Kerdany holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ain Shams University as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Poitiers University.

Mr. Mostafa Alazab joined PFI in 2024 as Chief Legal Officer, bringing with him over 15 years of extensive legal experience across Egypt and the MENA region. With a robust background in both financial and non-banking financial sectors, he specializes in corporate law, offering invaluable insights and expertise to the organization.
Prior to joining PFI, Mostafa served as Chief Legal Officer at Beltone Holding, a prominent player in the financial markets. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the legal functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and providing strategic advice on significant transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and the establishment of investment funds.
Mostafa holds an LLB degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Judicial Science from Cairo University, further enhancing his credentials with an MBA from ESLSCA University. His diverse professional background includes roles as Legal Counsel at esteemed law firms in the GCC, where he managed legal affairs for large corporate clients across various industries.
In Egypt, he has held key positions such as Legal Manager at Al Tammir Leasing and Factoring Company and Assistant Legal Manager at ORASCOM Hotels and Development Group.
Mostafa began his career at prestigious law firms, including Mr. Mohamed Kamal Abd Elaziz Law Firm and Mr. Farid El Dib Law Firm, where he gained significant experience in litigation and corporate law.
